How Draft Builder works
Draft Builder helps you draft better in League of Legends solo queue and 5-stack flex. You enter picks as they happen; it tells you what your comp is missing, which champions fill that gap, and how to exploit the enemy comp. It suggests, you decide.
The data
120,737 ranked solo queue matches from Iron to Challenger (EUW, KR, NA, OC) on patch 16.19 and 16.18, pulled from the official Riot Games API. The crawler collects the same number of games for every rank, and the rank filter in the header switches every stat to your elo: in low elo other champions and comps win than in Master. Small samples are shrunk toward the average (Empirical Bayes; in a rank view toward the all-ranks rate), so a champion with 20 lucky games does not top the list.
How a suggestion is scored
- Meta strength: win rate in the role, plus how often it is picked and banned.
- What your comp needs: engage, frontline, waveclear, siege, crowd control and peel, compared with a typical pick for the same role. Weighted by how strongly each one goes with wins in the data.
- Damage mix: measured magic, physical and true damage share, so you don't end up all AD.
- Synergy and matchups: measured win-rate deltas with your picks, against their picks and in lane.
- Draft theory: anti-tank against frontline, peel against dive, engage against poke, and more.
- Comfort: champions your players main: mastery (fading when not played for months) plus their last 30 games on Summoner's Rift, from the Riot ID import on the Team page, or marked with ★ by hand.
Team comp archetypes
- Teamfight / Wombo: Hard engage plus AoE damage. Forces 5v5 fights at objectives.
- Pick / Catch: Catch single targets with hooks, charms and roots, then take objectives.
- Poke & Siege: Chip the enemy down before fights, siege towers, disengage their engage.
- Protect the Carry: Front-to-back around one hypercarry with lots of peel and shields.
- Dive: Jump onto the backline and delete their carries.
- Split Push: 1-3-1 or 1-4: constant side-lane pressure while the rest hold mid.

Yes. Every draft feature is free to use in the browser, no account needed.
Where does the data come from?
From ranked solo queue matches of every rank, Iron to Challenger, in EUW, KR and NA, pulled from the official Riot Games API and aggregated per patch and per rank. Pick your rank in the header and every stat follows it.
How are picks recommended?
Each champion is scored on role win rate, what your comp is missing (engage, frontline, waveclear, damage mix), synergy with your picks, matchups against the enemy picks and classic draft theory. Every suggestion shows its reasons, and you make the call.
Can I use it during champ select?
Yes. Pick your side, type each pick as it happens and press Enter. The tool follows the real pick order and updates suggestions instantly.
Can it plan Clash drafts?
Yes. The Clash planner scouts the other team by Riot ID, suggests bans for both ban phases and builds comps from the players on your team. The draft tool also follows the tournament ban and pick order.
Does it work for 5-stack flex?
Yes. Add your squad on the Team page, import champion pools by Riot ID, and suggestions will favour champions your players are comfortable on.
